About Rio Rancho
Rio Rancho High School, located in Rio Rancho, NM, offers a variety of athletic programs for both girls and boys. These programs include basketball, football, soccer, cross country, volleyball, wrestling, swimming and diving, golf, track and field, tennis, and baseball/softball. The football and basketball programs at Rio Rancho High School have a strong reputation and are known for their fierce competition against rivals such as Cleveland High School and Cibola High School. The school is a member of the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) and competes in the 6A classification for most sports. Rio Rancho High School has a proud athletic tradition and encourages its students to participate and excel in sports while maintaining academic excellence.
