About Woodburn
Woodburn High School is a vibrant educational institution located in Woodburn, Oregon. The athletic program is comprehensive, consisting of both girls' and boys' sports. The boys' sports programs include basketball, cross country, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, and wrestling. Meanwhile, the girls have basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The football and basketball programs at Woodburn High School are particularly noteworthy. The Bulldogs football team has a fierce rivalry with the Silverton High School Foxes. The annual "Battle of the Bridge" game between these two teams is a must-see event for many people in the area. The Bulldogs basketball team, on the other hand, competes in the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) 4A classification. They often face off against rivals in their conference, including North Marion High School, Cascade High School, and Stayton High School. Woodburn High School is proud to be a member of the OSAA. The state association promotes and regulates interscholastic activities across Oregon's public, independent and charter school systems. It strives to foster equitable competition while providing a positive athletic experience for student-athletes.
